José Meolans se retiró de la práctica oficial el año pasado.
La llegada del reconocido nadador se cerró ayer, tras una reunión mantenida entre el presidente de Chubut Deportes, Walter Ñonquepán, y los representantes del Complejo Patio Grande, Gabriel Royo y Julio Pazos. El Ente deportivo provincial facilitó el traslado de los disertantes a la zona.
La propuesta de recibir a Meolans en Puerto Madryn está enmarcada en una serie de clínicas deportivas que el múltiple campeón realiza en todo el país. La prueba piloto fue en diciembre de 2008 en Necochea y desde allí la idea fue tomando vuelo.
Durante todo este año, José Meolans y Eduardo Otero recorren diferentes puntos de la Argentina, llevando sus clínicas de natación. Meolans se retiró el año pasado, pero emprendió este proyecto con el deseo de transmitir todo el conocimiento adquirido en más de 15 años en la elite mundial.
Entre junio y julio, los reconocidos nadadores visitaron el norte del país y en setiembre llegarán al golfo. El complejo Patio Grande será sede de la clínica y, sin dudas, el fin de semana de aprendizaje junto a Meolans traerá grandes beneficios para la disciplina en la provincia.
La clínica estará dirigida a nadadores de todo tipo y nivel, pero habrá un cupo limitado de 50 inscriptos, para garantizar la calidad de la misma. Según se viene trabajando hasta el momento, en cada clínica los participantes tienen garantizado los entrenamientos programados con Meolans y Otero. También habrá tiempo para dialogar y sacarse todo tipo de dudas con respecto al trabajo deportivo dentro y fuera del agua.
